Each month brings wonderful challenges and new opportunities. This month, we have begun to experience much rain in Texas. In the rain, I am reminded of the beauty that emerges from downpours. While some may see this as dread, there is always a promise in the downpours of life. Your mind might say, “You are not worthy, you are not accomplishing much.” But in the downpour of life, it can be beautiful because something new is happening. Pay attention to the moments you have been given to be thankful for, and remember that you are worthy. I love how God doesn’t count your sin; He counts the hairs on your head. He knows your going in and your going out.
Matthew 10:30 “But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. “It’s part of a larger passage where Jesus assures his followers that their lives are precious and of value to God.
Psalm 121:8 ESV “The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore”
He has given you a precious gift: Jesus. He has paid it all, and the downpours that come will result in such beauty for His kingdom. You are His bride, and He is restoring your mind to Him. Recognize that you are not a product of your past, but a victor because of Jesus. He laid down His life for you; you, in turn, lay down your life for Him. If you take time in Him, in His word, and

prayer, He will bring your mind, will, and emotions into a new place with Him. Prayers are not just requests; they are a space for great conversation about His glory, and He wants to share so much during those times of downpour in your life. It’s all about perspective: do you see through the broken lens of hurt, or do you exchange those lenses for how Jesus sees you in moments of despair?
Galatians 3:13 This verse that, “ Christ redeemed us from the curse for us, for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree.” This emphasizes Jesus’ sacrifice as a substitutionary atonement, where He took the punishment for our sins.
Colossians 2:14 This passage describes how God ‘Cancelled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross.” It highlights the forgiveness and freedom granted through Jesus' sacrifice.”
There are so many more amazing scriptures that will encourage you this new month. Take time to sit and write out the word that you need. Ask the Holy Spirit what He wants to share, and let Him speak. Let Jesus show you where you are missing out in the Word, and seek Him daily. Oh, how precious are those who seek Him and find Him in their despair and sadness. Sadness will not last; joy will come. Joy comes from Jesus, and He is working all things out in you and for you. TRUST! Trust in His ways and His love.
