We are overcomers

Good afternoon,
This week has been a significant and sobering time for all of us, as we have witnessed our country react to the tragic killing of a man who devoted his life to serving God with all his heart, mind, and soul. His unwavering commitment to his beliefs cannot be overlooked. He placed God above all, loved his family deeply, and served his country faithfully. The principles he lived by are the same ones that guide anyone who loves God wholeheartedly and follows Jesus with complete devotion.
The Reality of Our Choices
Ultimately, each of us will face the reality of our current spiritual standing. When our time on earth ends, our destination will be determined not by debates or arguments but by the sincerity of our walk with the Lord. There may be areas in our lives where we need to humble ourselves, seek repentance, and strive to please God in all things. The choice is ours: we can serve God with our whole being, or settle for being lukewarm or cold in our faith. The latter will not grant us entry into the kingdom of God. Today, we must decide whom we will serve.
Living as Overcomers
Even as we mourn the loss of a man who was murdered for his beliefs, we are reminded that only God knows the true condition of our hearts and who will enter His kingdom. We cannot be complacent, believing that such a tragedy could never happen to us. Our calling is to be overcomers—whether on this side of heaven or the next. The central question remains: will we serve the god of this world or the God of all creation?
Reflecting on the Past and Moving Forward
Over the past 25 years, much has changed, and we might wonder what we have truly lost. Have our perspectives been shaped by what we see, or are we holding fast to what God has spoken over our lives? Now more than ever, we are called to be overcomers through the blood of the Lamb, stepping confidently into the purpose God has set before each of us.
In the infallible Word of God, here are some scriptures to meditate on this week.
Revelation 3 14 -18 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things says the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God; I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, I am rich, have become wealthy, and need nothing- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked-I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be riche; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
Revelation 3: To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
Matthew 22 37 Jesus said to them, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. (Ponder and meditate on this before you do the next part of the scripture.)
