Last week, my husband and I attended a class on Tuesday nights. We discussed our previous week's study, and I was struck by how God brought us back to Genesis and the creation story. Despite reading it many times, the questions asked of us really made me think. One question was, “Write a prayer expressing your thoughts on creation to God.” Have you ever written a prayer about creation? As children, we ask simple questions like, "God, how did you create everything just by speaking?" but we rarely pause to deeply reflect on it.
My prayer went as follows: "Father, I am immensely thankful for Your creation. During times when I needed to witness Your work, I saw it in the trees, the sky, and the birds. The mountains remind me of how You communicate with me. I am grateful for the vastness and depth of creation. I also seek forgiveness for the times we have neglected to care for Your word. Your breath of life has created everything we walk on and enjoy. We acknowledge that the earth will eventually pass away and be renewed. Nonetheless, we must still take care of the word that was manifested."
As I reflected on the written word of God, out of Genesis 1:2-25 I was truly amazed. I was amazed of how we have the same authority in our words. Our breath is His and as we open our mouths to speak, we are like kissing the manifested word of God that comes out of us. If we could truly grasp the power of the word that is spoken and how we could see the ability of His handy work even more in our lives. How much we would understand more of the

powerful Father we serve.
It’s amazing to think we are walking on the same land where humanity began. We were fashioned in our mother’s womb and called to walk in God's fullness. Colossians 2:10 says, “In Christ, we have been brought to fullness.” Just as God's word states, “Abide in me, and I in you... for without me, ye can do nothing.”
We cannot truly achieve anything without the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Accepting Jesus activates your entry into the kingdom. Even if you're not saved, there's an inherent knowing that God is real, though your spirit isn’t yet alive in Him. This week, I encourage you to write a prayer expressing your thoughts on creation to God. Don't overthink it; simply share your heart with the Lord.
We encourage you to join us for this week's message on Redemptive Plan Coaching with Montene. We will feature a new guest speaker who will discuss the topic, "Don't Wait for a Crisis; Strengthen Your Faith Now."
