Rooted and Established

This week, we have the privilege of featuring Aunt Pat, whom I've frequently mentioned, as the author of this week's blog. Be inspired, as I firmly believe this aligns with God's plan for us to follow in the footsteps of His Son, Jesus, by praying for others as we wish to be prayed for. Enjoy, and let God touch your heart this week.

“And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge — that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”— Ephesians 3:17-19.
I am sitting here meditating on it and wondering, "Do I want this for others?" How many of us want this for others? Do we even consider others as we read this verse?
Can I name one person by name that I would pray and believe for this scripture to manifest in and through their life? Read it slowly and consider
(I like the Amplified)
“So that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, filled and flooded with God Himself].” Ephesians 317-19 AMP
My Emphasis
1 That Christ may dwell in your heart,
2 That you’re deeply rooted and grounded in Love,
3 Capable of comprehending the width, length, height, and depth of His Love,
4 That you are experiencing His endless Love, which surpasses knowledge,
5 You’re filled throughout your being to ‘all’ the fullness of God,
6 That you may have the richest experience of God's presence in your life,
7 Being filled and flooded with God Himself
Can you imagine if you picked just one or two people for some time and sincerely prayed this over them every day, no matter how they treated you, the effect it would have on their life, and how it would affect you?
“(as it is written, 'I have made you a father of many nations') in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;” Romans 4:17 NKJV
Call those things which do not exist as though they do.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
We must declare the Word over our own lives and the lives of others. We shouldn't rely on what we see, as appearances can be misleading regarding our true desires. Remember, we should live by faith, not by sight. If we let our hearts become hardened towards others, can we proclaim what God intends for their lives? Will I love them as God does and wish for them to be "filled to the measure of all the fullness of God?" I should want what Christ wants. He prayed for what He desires. I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those You have given me, for they belong to You. All that is Mine is Yours, and Yours is Mine, and I am glorified in them. I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, protect those You have given Me through Your name, so that they may be one as We are. "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their message; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me." John 17:9-11, 20-21 NKJV
Be encouraged, the Word is Alive and Active.
It is an honor to be a vessel for Him and share with you. I pray this blesses and encourages you in your walk with Him and others.
Always remember, God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
