Restoration IS GOD’S Plan- Jeremiah 29:11-12,13 “ For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”(ESV)
In the plans of God is for His children to seek Him, call upon Him, and be with Him through this journey on earth. Many are seeking, many are angry with God and many don’t want to turn to God, thinking He will punish them. That is not the God of Today. He is the God of yesterday, today and future. He wants to restore us back to Him. He wants relationships restored, broken heart restored, even the sinner who has lost his way.
Restoration is to restore to the original state. Restore it to what it was. We were intended to be whole in Christ Jesus. The Father brought restoration during the ages, but the main restorer is Jesus Christ, and His blood He shed. The depths of what He did on that cross, and after He came off the cross, He was restored. Any trial we go through, Christ has already gone through. He paid it all for you. He also went through death, so when death comes to your door, it will only be sweet; the result that will transpire leaving your earthly body.
Restoration is for us on earth as well as in heaven. When you think about it, those who make goals in life put a plan down, and make it plain for them to go back and look at the plan .( Habakkuk 2:2-3 “ And the Lord answered me: write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it. For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end-it will not lie, If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.” ESV )
The process of the goal is to restore what has been taken throughout his or her life. God placed in men's and women’s hearts a purpose. This purpose is not for one to take it lightly, but to know that each person on earth has been called to fulfill this purpose.
How do you get to the purpose? First and foremost, TRUST. TRUST God that what He says about having a future of hope, a vision. That is will surely come in due time. Then don’t listen to the naysayers, but to the one who says go, which is the Lord. Now there will be times you will need to wait for it, and not jump on it. That when an opportunity comes, He says, seek me with your heart. He wants to tell you the plan. The whole plan will not always be given.
Because some of us want to change the plan instead of trusting what He has for you. Some of us tend to try to get the opportunity in our strength instead of relying on Him. Can I just tell you that did not work for Eve? She was anxious, but what she heard from the serpent was to become wise by eating of the good and bad tree. She wanted the wisdom, but wanted it easily instead of waiting for it. Waiting sometimes means you just spend time with the Father in your prayer room and enjoying Him. She didn’t do that. She proceeded. It’s like today we can get information so fast in our day-to-day lives.
We have lost the art of slowing down and taking in information by researching. We want it now, does that sound familiar? Every Trial, every heartache, every change is to grow you, but also restore you to the Lord. Dependence on Him and not on yourself. People will fail you, but God will not. He does have commands and statutes that He has put into place to restore us to the purity that once was in the Garden of Eden.
Wisdom is not overnight, you have to walk through much with Christ beside you to acquire the gift. See, Eve took it upon herself to take the forbidden fruit because it was easy, but she left obedience to acquire the wisdom. Instead, the result was a curse that she brought upon mankind. We are still paying if we are out of the process of restoration. God wants more than anything for His children to take up all He has given to us because of what His Son has done for us. Restoring works as we are making time for the Lord, sitting and listening ( back to the verse above, asking and listening) to His voice and the word of God, then believing what He says, and declaring what He has said to give you a hope and a future.
Restoration is a beautiful process from all the trials, suffering and etc. we see it every day. Be encouraged that whatever stage you are in life He IS RESTORING YOU!
