God is the creator of time and is initiating the activation of His time on earth. Humanity exists within His time at all moments. Although we often consider it our own time, time itself was created by Him. The perception of time has been linked to human worth and value, but God determines a person's worth through their relationship with the savior who granted them abundant life.

In Greek, there are two words for time: Chronos and Kairos. Chronos refers to quantitative, measurable time, such as the time shown on a clock. Kairos denotes qualitative time, representing the right moment or opportune time for action.

In Hebrew, there are four words for time: Eth, Yom, ʿOlam, and Zəmān.

·       Eth (תֵּא) means "time" or "season" and appears in Ecclesiastes 3:1: "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens".

·       Yom (יוֹם) can mean "time", "year", "age", "always", "season", "epoch", or "24-hour day", and is found in Genesis 4:3, Isaiah 30:8, and other parts of the Bible. It is also used in the names of Jewish feast days, such as Yom Kippur and Yom Teruah.

·       ʿOlam signifies "eternity", encompassing both human and universal, finite and infinite time.

·       Zəmān refers to the "movement" or "passage of time".

The reason for this elucidation on the meaning of time is that the Lord is about to initiate an activation in time for the benefit of His purposes and His followers. We will witness a magnificent display of His glory, demonstrating His presence both within and beyond time. As one delves into the depths of His ways, there is no end to be found, as His time is eternal.

Let us reflect on the scriptures:

> Ecclesiastes 3:11, “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end” (NLT)

> Habakkuk 2:3, “For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

These passages remind us that as we move from one stage of glory to another, we are traversing the eternity of His time. Even though this concept may seem complex, remember that you exist within His time. When Jesus says, "Abide in me, and I in you" (John 15:4), it signifies that you are living in the abiding time of God, as Jesus is eternally present in time. Our journey of life on earth is meant to recognize that these advancements serve His kingdom, not our achievements. The choice to surrender to God's timing allows Him to guide you to the next level in the process of His glory.

As you contemplate the meanings of Chronos, Kairos, Eth, Yom, ʿOlam, and Zəmān, let these words deepen your understanding this week. Step in TIME!
